Lorain County is Cleveland’s growing neighbor to the west, and has beaches, museums, and plenty to do. Close to the adventure of Cleveland but far enough for peace and quiet, Lorain County has 34 communities to choose from, of which the largest municipality is the City of Lorain. Lorain City has a population of just over 75,000. Lorain County is loaded with family fun, adventure, outdoors recreation, and over 120 individual sites on the National Register for Historic Places. Lorain County is a wonderful place to visit, and an even better place to live.
